I stayed for 2 nights in a cozy chalet that had everything I needed. They were super accommodating when I asked for green tea. I loved the sun terrace for relaxing with a book and the lovely garden area that was perfect for morning walks. The room was a bit dated, but it didn't ruin my stay at all. 😊

Loud Atmosphere and Unmet Expectations
Our stay was marred by noise from the bar below, making it tough for us to rest. The kitchen opening times were inconvenient, and we missed breakfast due to early departure. The room lacked basic amenities, like a proper shower and hanging space for clothes.

would love to come back here some time
The location was great for our trip, close to M6 and the Lakes. The staff were super friendly. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom, which had a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee maker, and decent heating. Breakfast was excellent with gluten-free options available, and the food in the pub was good pub food.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay at Cross Keys. The Double Room with Private Bathroom suited us perfectly. The staff always greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel at home. Food at the pub exceeded my expectations. Each meal was well-prepared and delicious, truly a highlight of my stay. The location felt welcoming and easy to navigate. cleanliness could have been better. I noticed some cobwebs and dust in corners, which really detracted from the overall charm. The bathroom had some maintenance issues, like a missing shower head bracket, which impacted my experience. Although the breakfast options were decent, I found them a bit limited, and the staff could have been more informative about choices available.

Chalet stay was fab!
We spent a night in a one-bedroom chalet and seriously loved it. It had pretty much everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the space, and it was cozy! Only thing was the tv reception was pretty bad, but we didn’t miss out on fun. The bar was nice too, great cocktails! Would def come back!

We had a lovely stay! The shower was AMAZING, best part of the chalet. 😉 the small outdoor space felt a bit cramped with people from the pub nearby. Still, a cozy spot overall!

The property is charming and characterful, making it easy to find. The staff were welcoming, and the locals added to the overall friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, which were delightful. the room had a few quirks, such as a slightly wonky bed, but it added to the character of the stay. It was a perfect pit stop for our long journey to Scotland.
